This dutch apple tart was created by the pastry instructor of The Art Institute of Indianapolis, Jeffrey Spurlin.

Spurlin's dutch apple tart is topped with a buttery crumble, cheddar ice cream, and is served in a pool of red currant-port wine sauce. It was created for the January 2010 Deep Plate exercise.
